We are a South African company started by a group of growers who are passionate about raising our plants in complete harmony with the environment

Some years ago we experienced the amazing benefits of bat guano and set about sourcing a reliable supply with the strict proviso that it be harvested in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

Our search led us to the island country of Madagascar where we made contact with our current partners who are committed to harvesting the island’s substantial guano resources in a manner which both protects the bats and uplifts the communities around the bat caves.

After testing the guano deposits and selecting only those with the best nutrient profiles we obtained the necessary licenses and registrations to import the guano in bulk from Madagascar to South Africa. We are now proud to not only offer growers, for the first time in South Africa, premium quality bat guano, but to do it at a price which is within the range of most organic growers.

The guano is packaged at our facility adjacent to the Durban Port, in fully compostable, 2 and 5 kilogram heavy-duty paper bags.

These are boxed at 9 x 2kg or 4 x 5kg bags to a carton. (A minimum order quantity of 2 cartons applies.)

We have also developed a molasses based liquid flowering fertilizer, organically enriched with bat guano and very finely crushed dolomite and volcanic rock.

This will be available as soon as we have fulfilled the legal requirements, together with a conveniently packaged, guano-based soil builder which has all the necessary amendments to turn ordinary potting soil, coco coir and perlite into a supercharged growing medium.

The liquid flowering nutrient is low in nitrogen (N) but rich in organic phosphate (P), potassium (K), calcium (C) and magnesium (Mg) and micro-nutrients, and is designed to be used in conjunction with high-nitrogen sources such as fish emulsion or seabird guano, particularly when heavier nitrogen feeding is required in pre-flower. (See the “How to grow” section for more information.)

For now, contact us for the introductory offer of our premium high-phosphate bat guano, which can be delivered anywhere in South Africa.
